Dolly Parton’s New Cosmetics Collection

Dolly Beauty officially launched on Aug. 22, beginning with a four-lipstick capsule. The shades are Jolene Red, Honey Plum, Rosebud and Birthday Suit—a bright red, a mauve, a nude, and a deep purple shade. Each lipstick bullet is naturally covered in crystals, because we expect nothing less from Parton. Additionally, they feature a butterfly stamped into them and retail for $20. They will roll out into stores in 2025 but are available online this month.

Parton, 78, has long been candid about her relationship with beauty. She told PEOPLE in October last year that there’s only one way she’d ever be seen publicly with a bare face: “Death!” She elaborated on her relationship with makeup over the years, saying she didn’t always have access to high-end beauty products because of her upbringing, but that didn’t matter.

• “I’d find ways to create my own makeup with pokeberries and stuff that grew wild in the fields.”
• “I think all people that grow up in the mountains learn how to improvise with what you don’t have,” she said.
• “I would strike Mama’s old kitchen matches to make eyebrows and my beauty mark.”
• “Still, I find myself mixing and matching different makeups for different colors.”
